Your Role at Keystone Automotive Operations Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for our Brownstown, MI location. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing maintenance in a distribution center setting and ensuring that all safety efforts comply with local, state, and federal guidelines. Responsibilities Include:
The completion of all building service requests as assigned.
Conducting weekly/monthly/quarterly safety inspections at distribution center
Coordinating projects as directed
Working with established expense limits
Assisting in the monitoring of work being performed by outside contractors
Monitoring & maintaining building systems as assigned
Maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, & organization.
Carry company cell phone as required for on-call building requests
Alerting leaders of any unusual occurrence and/or damage within the facility
Maintaining a professional & courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Ensuring safety guidelines comply with local, state, and federal laws and that these guidelines are being followed throughout the facility
Preparing weekly maintenance schedules
Allocating work to Maintenance Associates daily
Training & development maintenance personnel
The hiring of qualified candidates
Evaluating employees based on performance
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, Vocational Degree a plus
3+ years’ experience in a Maintenance, Safety, or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Understanding of performance management
Ability to maintain and manage a predetermined budget
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
Detail-oriented
Computer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment
Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. Must be able to tolerate high and low-temperature levels.
The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud
