Solicit new and existing customers daily and promote and sell the Company’s products to customers.
Develop relationships with and provide service to existing customers that ensure customer retention and customer loyalty.
Identify potential new customers and solicit business from the same.
Be familiar with the Company’s product literature and be able to convey product information and availability to customers to ensure the growth of both revenue and the number of customers along the route and/or within the territory.
Provide exemplary customer service.
Operate Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner with a valid driver’s license.
Deliver products to Customers along the assigned route.
Verify parts delivered to customers and obtain the signature of the customer confirming accuracy.
Protect company assets by diligently performing all duties in a safe manner, including safely handling products delivered and payments collected.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
Take responsibility for your safety and watch out for the safety of others. Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies.
Assumes other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED.
6+ months driving/delivery experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Requirements:
Previous sales experience a plus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive a vehicle most of the time.
Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 12 hours at a time); use hands to operate machinery.
May need to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust. May occasionally wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
May need to work in cramped spaces that could require getting into awkward positions.
May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels.
Daily travel will be required by drivers making deliveries.
