Your Role at Keystone Automotive Operations Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Tech for our Austell, GA location. The Maintenance Person is responsible for maintaining equipment, materials, and the overall welfare of our facility. Responsibilities Include:
The completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
The ability to read & interpret technical procedures, service manuals, electrical schematics as necessary
Assisting with maintaining inventory supplies and equipment parts; informing/reporting needed repair parts and or low inventory stock
Performing preventative maintenance tasks, work orders, as instructed per "Computerized Maintenance Program" and or assigned. Ensuring all paperwork is filled out, clear, legible and accurate
Completing special projects as directed by Plant Manager
Assisting in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
Readily available as required for on-call maintenance
Monitoring & maintaining all building systems as assigned
Responsible for alerting Plant Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage within the plant
Maintaining a professional & courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Following all work place safe practices such as lockout/tagout, PPE, etc.
Ensuring compliance of all work related in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner
Following established company policies
High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Prior maintenance training desired and or 1-year experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
Must be able to troubleshoot machinery such as inspect equipment and recognize issues creating equipment failure.
Must possess the following skills: capable of diagnosing and remedying machinery electrical and mechanical failures, diagnosing and remedying hydraulic systems, capable of fabrication (metal cutting, metal assembly, building stands, tables etc.), capable of metal welding, rebuilding pumps, valves etc.
Must be able to work in cooperation with others, communicate effectively, be attentive to detail, and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.
Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet.
Our facilities are not climate controlled. Individuals should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels.
