Warehouse Lead Assistant Shipping

Job Summary: The Assistant Lead will be responsible for warehouse activities to include parts packaging, shipping, and loading of shipping products. Assist WH Lead with assigning personnel to effectively meet daily needs and goals of the night shift operations.

- Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Job Summary: The Assistant Lead will be responsible for warehouse activities to include parts packaging, shipping, and loading of shipping products. Assist WH Lead with assigning personnel to effectively meet daily needs and goals of the night shift operations.
Responsibilities are:
- Double-check all manifests and product labels.
- Ensure invoices for each route are sorted in order of delivery and loaded in reverse order for offload in delivery priority.
- Oversee handling of product methodologies: damage prevention, accuracy, stacking and accountability practices
- Determine delivery vehicle size for local routes.
- Ensure all routes are properly loaded, blocked, and braced.
- Move trucks in and out of dock doors.
- Assist Warehouse Shipping Coordinator and Shipping Lead as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired
- At least three years of warehouse-related experience.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to lead others.
- Should not have any lifting restrictions. Ability to lift up-to 75lbs
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, and climb.
Work Environment:
- This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet.
- Our facilities are not climate controlled. Individuals should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels.
