Your Role at Keystone Automotive Operations Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for our Kansas City, KS location. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing maintenance in a distribution center setting and ensuring that all safety efforts comply with local, state, and federal guidelines. Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for the completion of all building service requests as assigned.
Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly safety inspections at distribution center
Participate and coordinate special projects as directed
Work with expense limits established.
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, and organization.
Carry company cell phone as required for on-call building requests
Responsible for alerting leaders of any unusual occurrence and/or damage within the facility
Maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Ensure safety guidelines comply with local, state, and federal laws and that these guidelines are being followed throughout the facility
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules
Allocate work to Maintenance Associates daily
Training and development of all warehouse personnel
The hiring of qualified candidates
Evaluating employees based on performance
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma, Vocational Degree a plus
3+ years experience in a Maintenance, Safety, or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Understanding of performance management
Ability to maintain and manage a predetermined budget
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. Must be able to tolerate high and low-temperature levels.
