Job Summary:
Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. (KAO) is currently recruiting for an Inventory Manager for our Category Management Team.  This position can be based at our corporate headquarters in Exeter, PA or any of our call center locations across the US and Canada (visit www.keystoneautomotive.com/About/Locations for location details).  The Inventory Manager will work with directly with the Inventory Director and Category Director to develop, optimize, and manage the execution of the inventory strategy for a given category team.
 
As Inventory Manager, you must have strong managerial, analytical, and interpersonal skills.  You should be able to demonstrate your knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, replenishment concepts, and have advanced problem solving ability.
 
Job Duties:
  • Owns and manages all inventory related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a given team
  • Manages the over-arching stocking strategy for the team
  • Determines the strategic stock adjustment plan for the team
  • Maintains optimum order cycles, adjustment weeks, and safety stock levels for the Buying Team
  • Manages forecast usage at the buyer and supplier levels, aligns suppliers with forecast algorithms based on growth, SKU velocity, order cycle, etc, assists the Analytics Team in measuring and monitoring forecast accuracy
  • Reviews and approves orders, opportunity buys, new item order quantities, show buys, etc. in accordance with the overall stocking strategy and supplier income plan for the team
  • Develops and maintains efficient communication channels with the Inventory Director, Category Director, and Buying Team
  • Manages a team of Buyers responsible for weekly order replenishment and execution of product returns. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Purchasing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in inventory management or procurement role
  • Experience managing and/or purchasing finished goods inventory in a Warehouse Distribution environment is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access (SQL knowledge is a plus)
  • Six Sigma experience a plus
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ team management/supervisory experience preferred
