Job Summary: Design and create graphics to meet specific business needs with a focus on motion graphics, digital audio and video production, content management and digital imaging for websites, apps, product graphics, social media graphics, static and rich banner ads, and email campaigns
 
Essential Job Duties:
1. Produce design assets for websites, apps, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates.
2. Support all locations with design, layout, printing and mailing of marketing collateral materials including flyers, advertisements, labels, forms, etc.
3. Support brand identities with consistent use of logo, design, and messaging.
4. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout style and size of type.
5. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
6. Utilize computer software to generate new images/designs and prepare final files for printer.
7. Confer with printers and other outside vendors on artwork requirements and final file formats.
8. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with supervisors or requestors and making necessary changes.
9. Study and research illustrations and photographs, etc. to plan presentation of materials, products, and services.
10. Produce graphics and other materials needed to support all marketing strategies.

Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):
Degree in graphic design, UI design, electronic media design, or similar field or equivalent amount of related experience
Experience designing for mobile or web applications; retail/ecommerce experience preferred
Experienced in designing for digital platforms—websites, apps, email, banner ads, social, etc.
Expert status in Adobe Creative Cloud
Understanding of SiteCore, HTML, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), and other emerging platforms as the business evolves
Balances creative and conceptual thinking with strong human-centered design sense
Solid understanding of web browsers and the constraints of designing for online media
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires good oral and written communication skills. High level of creative skill required.
Machines, Equipment, and Software: Computer, multi-user telephone system, copier, fax machine, internet, Microsoft office software, Adobe software.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to details. Must be able to work comfortably under pressure. Utilize time management skills and be able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
College degree in graphic design, UI design, electronic media design, or similar field or equivalent amount of related experience
 
Decision Making Examples:
Designs, creates, and produces graphic images/designs to meet various business needs
Coordinates with internal personnel and external vendors to produce final visual result
