Description:  Pricing and Business Analytics leader focused on profitable growth for our core RV market segment (aka “dealers”) in the US, Canada, and abroad (Export).  Secondary market responsibilities include programs, policies, and pricing directives for our Mail Order Drop Ship business segment.  This role reports to the Director of KAO/NTP Pricing and Business Analytics.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Margin Analysis – Varied in-depth analysis across all aspects of commercial business transactions in order to proactively manage margin, grow sales, implement pricing disciplines, and improve processes and reporting metrics.
  • Pricing Approvals – Regular pricing decisions / approvals through analytics and utilization of current and to-be-developed analytical tools.
  • Program Development – The creation and ownership of pricing programs that include set targets and measures geared to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Sales Interaction – Regular cadence reviews with sales leadership geared towards driving margin enhancement, sales conversion of discount requests, and exchanging market intelligence.
  • Show Management – Total ownership and execution of the NTP/Stag trade show, including selling and pricing processes, including pre, at, and post-show for the NTP Expo and KAO Big Shows.
  • Process Improvement – Regular review of pricing process leading to analysis and eventual implementation of new tools, process, or structure designed to enhance margin, increase pricing disciplines, and improve processes.
 
Job / Skill Requirements:
  • Analytical Thought – In-depth knowledge and experience within business analytics including the building and utilization of financial models.
  • Leadership - Experience in direct or indirect leading of a team.
  • Computer skills - Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and advanced experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Financial Analysis Experience – Direct or indirect involvement with business/financial analytics.
  • Priority and Project Management - Multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and keep up with project scope changes.
  • Teamwork - Able to work well with both internal and external clients, to include our off-shore team.
  • Communication Skills - Solid presentation skills and ability to communicate with various audiences, especially Sales Representatives, Sales Managers, and members of the IT team.
  • Initiative - Self-starter with leadership skills and a strong attention to detail.  Ability to articulate their answer and reasons behind it to a varied audience.
  • Adaptability - Quick learner who is easily able to learn new products, systems, applications and market dynamics.
