Role: Directly responsible maintenance and administration of the Roadnet system.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Update all customer info: Geocode, plot in Roadnet determine and analyze run area
2. Maintain National Account info- communicate any problem
3. Communicate immediately to Sales Managers – problems, issues
4. Manage Roadnet Manifests and communication to Cross Dock Managers
5. Work closely with Sales to resolve delivery issues
6. Provide Road net with new Sales figures and deliveries.
7. Develop appropriate policies and procedures for the administration of Roadnet.
8. Assist Drivers with any problems when delivering
9. Maintain records of write-ins and recommend when customer should be added to route
10. Update IT and Accounting with any customer changes
11. Update Roadnet Information Center Daily to provide deliver times to each customer
12. Provide Data and Metrics to Director and to Sales as needed.
13. Represent Delivery on the Safety Review Board.
14. Assist in the budgeting process for Roadnet department.
15. Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Sr. Logistics Managers
Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):
Education & Experience: BA/BS or equivalent business experience with an emphasis on logistics and supply chain. At least five years relevant experience with multi-location operations (distribution, warehousing, feet).
