Keystone is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for our fulfillment center in Austell, GA. The Operations Manager has complete responsibility for the inbound operations, outbound operations or a functional process responsibility within the fulfillment center on a specified shift or across multiple shifts.
Job Summary:
As any Operations Manager, you should have a proven record of leadership excellence and a history of leading teams to consistently exceed established goals in dynamic operational environments.  You should have already demonstrated the ability to develop forward looking plans and turn those plans into a successful execution.
Job Duties:
  • Adhere to company policies on ethics and integrity.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers and hourly associates in outbound or inbound operations within the Fulfillment Center.
  • Improve performance, maximize efficiency and optimize cost effectiveness.
  • Accountability for meeting deadlines and exceeding operational goals.
  • Establish and sustain effective, two-way communication that informs and motivates as well as recognizes excellence among team members.
  • Ability to develop and share best practices across the shifts and network.
  • Identifies issues with the operating metrics and P&L and make required adjustments in timely manner.
  • Ensure each associate understands their individual role and responsibilities, as well as the group’s role and responsibilities required to achieve and maintain a safe work place.
  • Drive continuous improvement to safety, quality, cost, and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the Fulfillment Center.
  • Drive strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; resolve problems; and address staffing needs.
  • Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ Corporation quality improvement system.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.  
Job Requirements/Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations.
  • At least 4 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience of effectively managing large groups of hourly employees.
  • Superb analytic skills, metrics driven mindset and detail oriented.
  • Ability to handle changing priorities, possess excellent judgment/problem solving skills, and be recognized as a natural influencer with an ability to find creative solutions to deliver business plan targets
  • Customer service obsession, with willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs.
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt and drive the right results using data.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position requires individuals to be on their feet except when operating machinery or performing supervisory responsibilities. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. They must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and withstand heights of more than 15feet. This position is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally is exposed to extreme cold and heat. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The noise level is moderately loud.
