About the Role

As a Sales Team Lead, you will support an assigned customer base while helping sales team members improve performance, identify opportunities, and deliver knowledgeable service.

What You’ll Do

• Manage an assigned RV customer base and support customer service, sales, and account development activity
• Conduct training on departmental systems and support weekly side-by-side coaching with sales team members
• Create sales challenges and initiatives to help the team achieve target sales goals
• Partner with leaders to develop campaigns and review data to identify account and product opportunities
• Travel to visit customers and suppliers as business needs require
• Share customer and salesperson feedback to help identify potential supplier opportunities
• Participate in weekly and monthly calls and share best practices with other Sales Team Leads and Regional Sales Managers
• Guide the work of team members performing similar sales activities by helping set priorities, schedule work, and review activity without direct authority over hiring, termination, performance reviews, or pay decisions

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of related sales, customer service, account management, RV, or recreational products industry experience
• Ability to train others, share information clearly, and present to department or middle management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer, supplier, team, and leadership interaction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and related business tools
• Ability to analyze data, interpret rates, ratios, percentages, and graphs, and translate findings into sales opportunities
• Independent problem-solving, organization, and goal-setting skills within established procedures

Preferred Skills

• College coursework desired
• Knowledge of RV parts and accessories
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French skills preferred

Work Environment

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
